SMS consent

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This page is public evidence of how MorningText collects SMS consent. There is no public website phone form. The marketing site trial CTA is email (hello@morningtext.app). Opt-in happens in the MorningText mobile or web app.

Where consent happens

SMS starts off. Email is available without SMS. Checking the box is not bundled with Terms acceptance. The checkbox is unchecked by default.

Hosted screenshots of the in-app opt-in

The live Flutter app is behind login. These hosted screenshots are the public proof of that in-app flow: same layout and the exact checkbox language as the Flutter widget on onboarding (How We Reach You) and later in Settings. The box starts unchecked. Ticking a screenshot does not collect a number.

MorningText onboarding screen titled How We Reach You. Phone number field, unchecked SMS consent checkbox with full customer-care TCPA language, Privacy and Terms links, email switch on, Continue to Test Call.
Onboarding: How We Reach You. Unchecked SMS consent checkbox (not bundled with Terms). Same layout and language as the Flutter widget.
MorningText Settings sheet titled Text Message Consent. Unchecked SMS consent checkbox with the same TCPA language. Enable text messages button is disabled until the box is checked.
Settings: Text Message Consent. Same unchecked checkbox. Enable text messages stays off until the box is checked.

Consent UI as shown in the MorningText app

Interactive replica of the same layout and checkbox language. The box starts unchecked. Ticking it here does not send a number or sign you up.

Exact checkbox language

I agree to receive recurring automated customer care and account notification text messages from MorningText about my daily hotline status results, action-required alerts, and related account or support notices. Message frequency varies (typically 1–2 messages per day based on my schedule). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Privacy: https://www.morningtext.app/privacy · Terms: https://www.morningtext.app/terms

Re-subscribe after STOP

After a STOP, you may text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same MorningText number. Twilio’s standard opt-in keywords send a confirmation SMS (brand, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP) before texts resume. There is no public website keyword signup.
